March 2020 - Tour Delays

All of a sudden; Everything changed.

Morning of March 13th, Hush’s inbox was continuing to fill with tour announcements, new upcoming albums and other exciting music news. By the afternoon, the withdrawal emails started…

Realisation has slowly started to trickle in to the conscious of the UK that we cannot just “keep calm and carry on”. And thus, it is with huge regret and great sadness that artists and venues have made the tough decision to put health first and to cancel or postpone shows. Obviously postponed shows will be hanging in limbo for the foreseeable future, as we have no idea how long this will affect our societal movements. This is a super stressful time for everyone, not least for those in the live music industry, which is facing nothing short of a catastrophe. It’s not sustainable to continue putting on shows, for bands, venues or for the audience. Below please find shows we have cancellation confirmation of, and we’re sure this is merely the tip of the corona ruined iceberg…

  • Frank Turner cancels remaining stops on his current tour.
  • Planet Earth II Live In Concert postponed.
  • The White Buffalo UK Tour Postponed.
  • William Duvall has cancelled his upcoming UK/ Europe shows.
  • Sea Girls have postponed their April tour.
  • The Hara have postponed their April tour.
  • Foo Fighters reschedule tour for December 2020.
  • Enter Shikari have cancelled the proposed Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible album launch shows.

But don’t be too disappointed! Our favourite creatives can’t be expected to keep quiet throughout a mass isolation period! The White Buffalo has announced his Tour Postponed, but also released news of a partnership with Cadenze TV to offer fans a one-time-only premium quality interactive streaming event! Including new material, some old favourites and a fan Q&A session, to stream 5th April.

Along theme with The White Buffalo, keep an eye on your favourite bands and artists various social media platforms, as we believe many will be putting on little shows for us, to pull us through this trying time…

As Frank Turner put it; “I’m looking into options for some live broadcast shows and fundraising ideas for the parts of the industry that are hardest hit by all this - news when I have it. In the meantime, let’s all stay safe and healthy, wash our hands, listen to the advice of medical professionals, and be kind and considerate to our fellow humans in this trying time.”
