REAL AUTHORITY - New Single

Powerful London-based punk outfit REAL AUTHORITY have released their second track ’The Energy’, alongside an 80’s video-game inspired lyric video which includes some surprise guest appearances… Guitarist Johann Saul admits that there’s a heavy Limp Bizkit influence on the new track and proclaims, “We’re taking it all the way back to 2001!”

Vocalist John James Davies explains how his own ‘energy’ also influenced the track; “Basically, I think I can be a bit much sometimes. Bouncing off the walls and ready to explode at any given moment. Sometimes it can be too much for the other guys to deal with. Or at least it was until we wrote this song and now they all understand that I’m only like that because I wanna rock out and make great records!”

The Energy’ is taken from the band’s debut EPTRUE MOTION’ which is out on 26 July through their own Chapter One Records.

REAL AUTHORITY teamed up with Daly George at The Ranch Production House (Milk Teeth, Creeper, Employed To Serve) to record their first tracks and the tracks were then mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Twitching Tongues, Drug Church, Stranger Things (OST)). The 5-track collection showcases southern-inspired grooves, fast-paced blistering punk, and unashamedly metalicised riffs.
