Introducing American Idol’s Alejandro Aranda…

Alejandro was introduced to us via the biggest talent show in the world, American Idol, which this year was streamed in the UK via Netflix. Aranda came 2nd place to the supposed “dream-boat” Laine Hardy. As massive AI fans, we immediately felt Alejandro’s talent, and were routing for him, every step of the way. Check out his amazing audition below…

Alejandro demonstrates some insane musical ability with his crazy-unique vocals, self taught guitar skills and beautiful piano playing. His music throughout the show held such a special Alejandro sound, but being in the mist of this massive popular pop show, he remained authentic and true to his stand out personal sound.

Alejandro is unlike an artist you’d expect to come from a show like American Idol, but in the past few years the show has really diversified in the talent it displays, proven by last years super-talented, cute and kooky winner Maddie Poppy. The show now seeks individuality, originality and authenticity. All of which A.A has in bucket-loads. 

Now calling himself Scarypoolparty, Alejandro is out with his very first single, “Tonight”, which he wrote and co-produced.

Alejandro has a true passion for music and this is what shines through in his music and his performance, we think this is a sound that everyone can enjoy, no matter their genre taste.
