Indie-punk newcomers SUNLINER have released a music video for ‘Palliative Care’, the opening track from their self-titled debut album, out now via Lockjaw Records. The new video is a montage of never-seen-before behind-the-scenes tour footage from their live dates at the end of 2022.
‘“‘Palliative Care’ is a song we wrote late in our writing process for the new album, but it felt like the perfect album opener,” says vocalist Jake. “The whole album comments on death, how life is short and we need to make the most of it, and this is exactly that - maybe you can move away and become something, that thing you’ve always wanted to do, or be, you CAN do that. Every moment we live is essentially getting closer to death, so make the most of that time you have.”

The band’s recently released debut album ‘Sunliner’, was produced by Andy Hawkins at The Nave in Leeds, mastered by Dave Draper, and powered by cups of tea. The 10 tracks on the album can be read as one person’s journey through life or lots of different people at different stages in their life. “We’re blown away with how this album has been received, after 3 years+ of writing and recording it feels awesome to be able to share it with people and hear everybody’s favourite tracks and hearing, the day of it’s release, people singing the words back to us was incredible,” says Jake.
