WILLIE JONES WALKS A FINE LINE ONNO TELLIN’’

Fresh from playing London C2C festival this weekend at The O2, where he got the party started with his upbeat energetic sets, Willie Jones continues to tantalize fans with the release of his new track, ‘No Tellin’’.

“I’ve had ‘No Tellin’’ ready for a while but it wasn’t the right time. Country music needs a club banger, so I finally said to the team ‘Let’s drop it!’,” said Jones. “I’ve tested it on tour and with my DJ’s homies and the reaction is always real swell. Shout out to Chris Stevens and my guy Mars who helped bring those drums to another new level.”

‘No Tellin’’ finds Jones keeping a scandalous relationship under wraps and follows his previous song “Them Girls Do.” The Boot touted “Them Girls Do” as “infectious, party-ready anthem” while the track was also featured by CMT, Country Now, and more. Jones recently performed both songs on the Grand Ole Opry. Jones further commented on this weekend’s appearances in London, “It’s been a long time coming since we played London and so happy that this time it was for C2C at The O2. The shows were all packed and full of energy just how we like it. I wish we were here for another week but we’ll be back soon! Thank you C2C for having us!”

ABOUT WILLIE JONES: Sony Music Nashville / The Penthouse innovator and “country-trap iconoclast” (Grammy.com) Willie Jones blasted on the scene with his critically acclaimed debut album Right Now, which featured his lauded single “American Dream.” Named one of the 12 Black Artists Shaping Country Music’s Future by USA Today, Jones most recently released “Them Girls Do” and “Get Low, Get High (Part 2),” a collaboration with GRAMMY Award winner Jon Batiste and Pastor Michael Todd. Previously a solo release, “Get Low, Get High” serves as a rumination on embracing life’s valleys to truly appreciate the peaks. With new verses from Batiste and Todd rounding out the anthem, Part 2 amplifies the universal truth as the three musicians from all walks of life lend their voices to the message. Additionally, Jones’ version of “Bein’ Green,” appears in Amazon Music’s documentary “For Love & Country,” which declares country music has always been Black music and examines the complicated history of the genre. The rising artist serves as an ambassador for Ford Motor Company and has been covered by NPR All Things Considered, Forbes, Rolling Stone, E! News, PEOPLE, MTV and others, while performing at noteworthy festivals such as Stagecoach, CMA Fest, and Lollapalooza between tours with artists including Kidd G and more.
