We Are Scientists - Live Review

We Are Scientists @ Rescue Rooms, Nottingham - 05/05/18

We Are Scientists are so laid back they’re almost horizontal ! Swaggering onto stage with smiles and waves, greeting the full Rescue Rooms room firstly with some sweet banter and secondly with a sweet tune. 

The music of We Are Scientists is difficult to pigeon hole, the sound is fun, fresh and cool. Easy listening with some spunk, rocky enough to please the rock fans but upbeat enough to make you groove! Between the songs the guys chit chat amongst themselves, in an inclusive way, which is really lovely and makes the show feel super intimate. 

Blasting catchy tune after fan favourite, this really was a great show, this three piece have captured something special and unique and eighteen years on, they’re running with it! The crowd was obviously full of proper fans, who had treated this as a night out with drinks, smiles and dancing all around. 

The Rescue Rooms is a really lovely venue, small enough to capture the magic of a show, but big enough to not get painfully sweaty!
