Sundara Karma - Live Review

Sundara Karma @ Rock City, Nottingham 30/09/17

We’ve been gagging to catch Sundara Karma after missing them at Leeds Festival 2016. With an ear to the ground this is a band that has just kept cropping up as a must see. As big fans of The Hunna, Sundara Karma aren’t a big leap for us. They’re cool young guys, wearing their hearts on their sleeves and singing in beautiful rock pop melodies.

Having released their first full length album this year, Sundara Karma are a relatively new band, yet they managed to sell out many stops on this UK tour, including this one. The place was full to the top of young and super enthusiastic fans. The dedication of kids to their music scene right now is one to be admired. Rock is the new Pop, you never know, Sundara Karma could be our next The Beatles.

As a cool and calm unit, these four guys swagger around the stage with a presence and a talent that is bold yet understated. Truly capturing your heart in their songs, you’d have to be made of stone to not get pulled in. This show seemed like a moment in time, a spectacular night that could possibly be the footing for an exceptional band career, expect to see these guys on Radio 1 Live Lounge soon.
