POLY-MATH Reveal Exhilarating Sprawling New Single ‘Canticum II’ Out Now / London/Brighton Prog Masters’ New Album Zenith Released 18th November 2022 via Nice Weather For Airstrikes / Zenith November 2022 UK Headline Tour Dates Announced

London/Brighton-based prog band POLY-MATH are delighted to reveal the exhilarating sprawl of their new single ‘Canticum II’ which is out now on all good DSPs. The single is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming new album Zenith, set for release on 18th November 2022 via Nice Weather For Airstrikes.

Commenting on the track, which places the talents of newest band member Chris Olsen on saxophone front and centre, the band say: “‘Canticum II’ is probably the most experimental and challenging track on Zenith. Constantly shifting rhythms and harmony (and even genres) might not make this an obvious choice for a single, but the track is packed full of catchy off-kilter melodies and earworms.” The new track follows on from lead single ‘Zenith (Vel Cut)’ which was released last month and gained support from PROG Magazine, Distorted Sound magazine, The Prog Archives, Prog Rock Journal, Bring The Noise and more.

Recorded at The Ranch Production House in Nursling with producer Mark Roberts (Delta Sleep, Toska, Black Peaks, The Physics House Band), Zenith is the fourth record from the band and represents a clear development—8 tracks of punchy riffs, guitar/sax battling melodies and tight, complex rhythms that capture the band’s massive live energy. Poly-Math will hit the road later this year on a run of November 2022 UK headline tour dates in support of the album (see below for listings).
