KLANGPHONICS, ‘LAMINAR
BRAND NEW SINGLE RELEASED

German techno band Klangphonics have released their brand new single ‘Laminar’ via Alaula Music. Made up of soaring melodies, ethereal pads and French spoken word, ‘Laminar’ creates a vast soundscape with its progressive minimalism to deliver a dreamy dancefloor cut.

The band have been treating fans to a taste of ‘Laminar’ live at their mesmerising shows over the past year, which have seen them performing to capacity crowds across the UK, Europe and India.

Regarding the single producer and guitarist Maxl Walmsley Pledl says, “‘Laminar’ has always been a highlight to play live and has had a good reception. It has taken some time to get the studio version to a point where we thought it was the best it could be but we’re very excited to finally put this one out.”

Klangphonics emerged in 2020 with their debut single ‘Ethereal’, a beautiful track as the name suggests, it introduced their sound which masterfully bridges the gap between electronic production and the live band experience with blissful synths and rich unfiltered bass.

The trio are a true spectacle on and off record, however having launched during the pandemic they were unable to tour. Despite this the band took to social media to display their intelligent live crafting of house and techno music. With this they have built an impressive online following that includes the likes of Ben Böhmer, Pete Townshend and Robin Schulz, while Klangphonics have also received co-signs from the likes of Boris Brejcha and Victor Ruiz.

During this time the band created astounding films to match the grandeur of their wide-reaching sound, filmed in the striking industrial and natural environments that surround them in their Regensburg hometown. This is demonstrated in the videos for ‘White Flower’ and ‘Dendrometry’, both taken from their debut EP Songs To Try in 2021.

‘Laminar’ is the first taste of a number of releases to come from Klangphonics this year. They will also be performing several festivals and headline shows throughout 2023 to further solidify their bold statement on electronic music. They will be performing at Noisily Festival in the UK and have more dates to announce soon.
