Announce Details Of Second Album Long Spoons
Released 1st October 2021 via Alcopop! Records Sep/Oct 2021 Long Spoons UK Tour Dates On Sale Now

Croydon post-hardcore power duo FRAUDS are pleased to reveal the video for their new single ‘Ships’ which is released on 1st July 2021 on all good digital streaming platforms. The band recently signed to Alcopop! Records, and are delighted to announce details of their second album Long Spoons set for release on 1st October 2021. The third track to be taken from the album following on from well-received previous singles ‘Copenhagen’ and ‘Money Honey’, latest single ‘Ships’ is another thick slab of juicy groove-laden riffage from the duo, bursting with fun and a dash of satire. The song’s narrative centres are a fictional ship called The Wishing Well and it’s unnamed captain.

Drummer and vocalist Chris explains: “I pictured someone similar to Daniel Plainview’s character in the film ‘There Will Be Blood’—a guy full of superficial charm who turns up in a small fishing community that functions perfectly without outside influence, yet he always manages to sell them the dream which inevitably destroys the community and the environment. He then sails off into the night having got what he’s needed and moves on to the next location to do it all again.” FRAUDS are set to hit the road in support of the album throughout Sep/Oct 2021 on UK headline tour dates (see below for listings) which are on sale now, and will also be appearing at the PORTALS all dayer in London on 31st July 2021 alongside El Moono, Asian Death Crustacean & more. FRAUDS second album Long Spoons is 1st October 2021 via Alcopop! Records.
