Enter Shikari - Live Review

Enter Shikari are a one of a kind act, that have risen from basement venues to totalling full arena shows. They are huge and for a reason - this band is EXCEPTIONAL. Unlike anyone else you’ve ever heard, unlike any genre that you can pin them too, Enter Shikari are special. 

How excited were we to see them billed to play a 2,000 cap room in Wolverhampton not once or twice but thrice… on their unique residency tour.

On the night the room was packed as soon as doors opened, anticipation rife. The room was cool but kinda grotty, exactly what you want from a smaller venue. For the first segment of the fire set, ES played mostly newer tracks, but the audience were absolutely mesmerised with a stage show that looked like it was made for an arena, these guys never spare any expense. Hitting in hard mid-set with The Last Garrison & Sorry You’re Not A Winner lit the room on fire, metaphorically & literally! 

We’ve never seen a crowd this alive, it was a really special atmosphere on this night and we felt so lucky to be a part of it. Satellites was a particularly beautiful, quiet moment in the show and it really highlighted the talent of this band as musicians and songwriters, no-one tells a story like Enter Shikari. 

Leaving the show feeling moved, changed, and more in love with Enter Shikari than ever before… I’d be happy with only seeing Enter Shikari live for the rest of my life…
