Vukovi - New Album

Vukovi release new album Fall Better

So we discovered Vukovi on the release of the first single La Di Da, from their first album Vukovi. Initially we were drawn in with the cool video, but we stayed for the tune. And from then Vukovi have been a Hush playlist staple, it’s amazing how a good video draws you in.

Whether the name Vukovi derived from the Polish translation of “Wolves” or not, their music is truly sharp and snarling rock realness.
Describing the sound that is Vukovi is a difficult one, we feel they don’t exactly fit into any genre box. You can hear hints of Electro, Pop, Rock, Punk, Metal, Post-Hardcore, the list could go on. This eclectic mix creates a moving sound. With Janines exquisite vocals layered on top, you forget how heavy some of the songs can be.

They say that your heartbeat changes to the rhythm of the music you hear, listening to the lyrics behind these epic tunes doesn’t just effect the heart, but the soul too.
The new album, Fall Better hits you with a punch that is only 35 minutes long, something we Brits tend to be good at, leave them wanting more. Stand out track for us is Play With me Cus I Can Take It, as with the last album these songs talk about real stuff, which for the most part effects us all at some time. The resounding message from the album is strength and resilience. Vukovi end their headline tour this Friday in Birmingham, and we’ll be there, eager to hear these new songs played live and loud.
