Live Review - With Confidence

With Confidence @ Nottingham, Rock City, 04/03/17

We caught Milestones & Safe to Say before With Confidence hit the stage, Milestones were really a hit with the already packed and awaiting crowd, having the kids jumping and screaming at the top of their lungs, filling ears with their energetic and passionate Pop Punk sound, they fitted in perfectly on this bill and were a treat to watch. Safe To Say were a pleasant step away from Pop Punk, leaning almost towards a Pop/ Metal, similar in sound to the likes of Pierce The Veil. Really cool and talented guys they were a great subtle contrast to the other bands, they didn’t have the crowd jumping exactly, but most were enthralled. 

With Confidence sold out Rock City basement. Four kids from Australia, touring the world with just one album under their belts.

It’s the story bands dream of being theirs, but the key necessary for such success? - It’s multidimensional. With Confidence have a sound that makes you want to dance and cry at the same time, laugh and jump. It’s infectious yet meaningful. They perform with a passion, a presence and a tenacity that few bands will ever learn to harness. The key is authenticity. 

We first caught With Confidence at Slam Dunk 2016. That’s where we were bitten by the bug. Capable of truly captivating an audience, and moving a room, With Confidence are just spectacular. We had a wonderful night.
